HISTORY

All Weather Sportscover Ltd (AWS) was first invented back in 1987 by founder, Pat Doig, as a semi automatic groundcover. It was used at the two largest stadiums in New Zealand, that being Lancaster Park (Jade/AMI Stadium) in Christchurch and Eden Park Outer Oval in Auckland.

Both stadiums served several prominent international and national sides in this period, such as the NZ All Blacks, the Crusaders and Canterbury in rugby union, to the NZ Warriors and NZ Kiwis in rugby league, the NZ Kingz in football and finally to NZ Blackcaps, Canterbury and Auckland in cricket. There were no major breakdowns in over 20 years of service.

Developments

But now AWS has evolved their traditional product which can be utilised even more - and still only using 2-3 ground staff. At any time during the week.

AWS brings you the RAPID. Giving your stadium natural air flow with its hydraulic easy to use elevated cover. The RAPID is state of the art covering system for any stadium and any code. Offering rapid deployment and less turf maintenance and less deployment.
